The optical behavior of historical pigments and translucent paint layers was studied in laboratory conditions at Bialystok University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The findings — proprietary to Well of Art — determined the architecture of Glaze.

Integrating Arts and Humanities Into Surgical Education: A Novel Curriculum for Facial Analysis Training

Glaze was integrated into the mandatory "From Canvas to Clinic" (FCC) curriculum for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery master's students at KAU. The curriculum uses structured drawing practice to train visual observation skills essential to surgical work — precision, spatial reasoning, and the ability to read three-dimensional form. The study represents the first peer-reviewed publication linking Glaze to clinical education outcomes.
